THANKS to KDF

I made use of the shuttle service mentioned in my last post today on my way home. The driver was most polite, and showed up just as I was getting to the police officer to request a shuttle.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Kentucky Derby Festival for offering this service this year. I sincerely hope it continues, given that the Clark Bridge is the only legal river crossing for bicycles and pedestrians for some forty or fifty miles along the river. The ten-minute wait advertised (mine was nearer zero minutes) is far better than the wait one would expect relying on TARC's schedules.
