Day off

I'm taking a couple days off work, partly to use some vacation time that I'd lose otherwise. I get to do some stuff around the house, ride a little bit, do some reading, go for another bike ride...a great day, in other words.

There is a piece in the C-J's Forum by Jackie Green today, suggesting a crackdown on irresponsible use of the roadways and encouraging folks to visit the website: www.safestreetslouisville.org. Of course, the usual hue and cry from the anti-cyclist twits is in evidence, along with some reasoned responses to the vitriol by folks who "get it." It's a shame we cannot levy extra taxation on "being a jerk." It would pay off the national debt in no time.
