Bike Month, Bike to Work Week and Bike to Work Day are fast approaching!
They aren't so much about folks like myself, as I already bike instead of driving a car much of the time. They are about encouraging folks to try riding instead of driving. Lots of seasoned riders are happy to brainstorm with new riders to find solutions for challenges that keep those new riders from using a bike instead of the car. On a local scale, the folks at Bike Louisville, Bicycling for Louisville and the Louisville Bicycle Club are having some friendly competition to see who can do the most by bike. It involves tracking your bike use through Green Light Ride, but registration is easy and free. Go for it! Win the COVETED Gilded Handlebars!
