Snow? We don't need no stinking snow!

The forecast snow didn't happen. My ride to work this morning was dry, if my eyes were not totally so.

I have learned that the repairs to my truck will not be something for which I have the equipment--that perch is riveted to the frame, and the rivets are hardened steel in many cases. It will likely cost me about $250 to have it fixed.

The truck will sit in the driveway until I can pay to get the work done, probably later this week.

Then I get to work on resolving my home computer woes. Two friends have offered replacement boxes, and I think my hard drive is still serviceable.
